The show is called TWELVE SHINY NICKELS.
The idea behind it is that every show will have twelve comedians on it doing their best five minutes of material. That way you can see a bunch of great comedy in only 60 minutes and then go and get on with your life without being held hostage at a boring, crappy comedy show that drags on for 2 and 1/2 hours or longer.
All of the performers on the show are some of the best working comedians in the country and have been featured on programs such as The Tonight Show, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, The Late Late Show, Live At Gotham and Last Call With Carson Daly.
The best part about this show, besides the great comedy, is that free beer will be provided for all audience members (21 years and older please) at each and every show.
So for only ten bucks you can drink all the beer you wish while watching the best standup comedians in the country. And in an hour it’s all done and you can walk over to Coach & Horses for more cocktails or to Toi On Sunset for some late night Thai food (they’re open until 4am).
